Woodward Main Street Takes off Handicap Accessible Project

Woodward Main Street is occupied on a project to change playground equipment with handicap accessible equipment.

Woodward’s Centennial Park could aspect a handicap usable playground.

The organization would need to raise $120,000 to fund its part of the project told Main Street Director Janet Fitz.

Fitz also said: “Children of all ages, children with no disabilities and children with disabilities will enjoy this park for years to come.”  “If we can bring a smile to even one child, it will all be worth it.”

Fitz said the City of Woodward will provide handicap accessible restrooms for the park.
