US Secretary of State John Kerry breaks leg in bicycle

US Secretary of State John Kerry has broken his leg in a biking accident. Mr. Kerry, 71, had suffered a broken leg when his bike struck a curb while he was cycling near Scionzier, France.

The accident took place in Scionzier, France, some 40km (25 miles) south-east of the Swiss border.

Kirby said: “The secretary is stable and never lost consciousness, his injury is not life-threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery.”Kerry’s cycling rides have become a regular occurrence on his trips.
