Germanwings crash in French Alps

An Airbus plane crashed in Alps region. Germanwings with 144 passengers, two pilots and four flight attendants on board has crashed of the Alps in southern France.

US Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki tols: “The United States stands ready to offer assistance and support to the governments of France, Germany, and Spain as they investigate this tragedy.”

Hollande said thhe passenger jet, operated by Germanwings, was traveling from Barcelona to Dusseldorf.

“I want to express my solidarity to the family of the victims. We do not yet know the identities of the victims. It is a mourning we have to go through because it is a tragedy that has happened on our soil,” Hollande said.
