Cristiano Ronaldo’s Hat-Trick scores five against Granada

Cristiano Ronaldo hit the fastest hat-trick of his professional career and five goals in one match for the first time, as Real Madrid drubbed second-from-bottom Granada 9-1 to move within a point of La Liga leaders Barcelona.

Ronaldo hit three times in eight minutes afterwords Gareth Bale had heated Real onwards in the 25th minute. Ronaldo then rounded off a significant afternoon with two more goals in the second half as a result suffered the heaviest defeat in their history.

First time a Real Madrid player had scored five goals in one game since Fernando Morientes in 2002.
