This Sunday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers moved to Boston to play Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Celtics. Despite the absence of their allstar, Kevin Love, the men of Tyronn Lue managed to create a surprise at TD Garden. Led by a monstrous LeBron James, the Cavs won the game with a score of 87/79 in spite of the efforts of Brad Stevens’ men like Al Horford, Jayson Tatum and Marcus Morris. Which will lead the Cavs to the NBA Finals that will be played very soon.
Cavs 87 – Celtics 79: Summary of Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finale
After a long run between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics, the two East Conference Franchises met on Sunday night in the 2018 Conference Finals. This is Game 7 held at TD Garden. Which offered the field advantage to Brad Stevens’ men.
Even before the kick-off of this conference final, the Massachusetts states franchise have been unbeatable on their floor especially during this Playoffs with 10 clear records in Boston. In addition, the Cavs, deprived of Kevin Love who was injured during Game 6, managed the game well and eventually won on a score of 87 to 79 with a huge show of the King, LeBron James.
In summary, the two finalists from the East focused on defense. That is why, the score does not exceed the bar of 90 points. In the first quarter, the men of Brad Stevens logically led the score with a difference of 8 points, or 26 to 18. This woke up the defense of the Cavs until the end of the meeting. So, the last three quarter-times were led by Cleveland. The Cavs have indeed responded with a very regular Jeff Green both in attack and defense. And, it was the same for Tristan Thomson who was equally impressive defending on Al Horford. The two Boston Celtics rookies Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum were not up to the match in the face of James’ show of strength. In addition, Terry Rozier and Marcus Smart missed their shots so late in the game.

With a mind and an impressive physique of steel, the best player of this 2018 Playoffs, LeBron James has done yet another huge feat this Sunday with 35 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists. In addition, the king played the 48 minutes without rest. A real alien! He is particularly at his best even though he has noted at each press conference the fatigue accumulated match after match.
Indeed, it’s the eighth consecutive final for The Chosen One. He set the example for his teammates, leading them from 4th place in the Eastern Conference to the 2018 NBA Finals. Now, the Cavs will be able to take a short break before starting the final very soon. They also wait for their opponent in between Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors.
